Site Changelog

14 July 2026: Added a dedicated Guestbook, with a sidebar link on every page. Also added a visitor counter and a "Latest News" box in the sidebar.

14 July 2026: Added the Distros page (active, dormant, and discontinued LXDE distributions) and the News page, starting with a piece on discovering OmegaLinux.

13 July 2026: Added LXDE Survival site button with copyable HTML code, created using the 88x31 Button Generator by Datakrash, and the page dedicated to the history of LXDE and its current use is complete.

12 July 2026: Widened the central content column from 600px to 700px, bumped the base font size up to 20px for better readability. Added a small animated LXDE logo overlay in the top-left corner. Added the "Site Updates" section you're reading right now.

11 July 2026: Site created. Set up the overall layout (three-column table structure), background texture featuring the LXDE bird, main animated logo, subtitle, and horizontal menu. Wrote the welcome message and added the first historical screenshot of LXDE, with a link to r/LXDEsurvival on Reddit for anyone interested in joining the community.
